Perfect Prep is a fast-evaporating surface cleaner that leaves no residue and in a few seconds creates the ideal base for applying a treatment such as Secret Surface or Protective Wax.

Decontaminated surface, no residue

As well as removing all contamination, it improves coating adhesion on any surface and increases durability. The formula is 100% safe on all materials, including carbon, aluminium, steel and titanium. It is also useful in the workshop for preparing surfaces before applying an assembly grease such as Assembly Pro or for degreasing the rim bed before fitting tubeless tape.

How to use it

Start from a clean, dry surface. Shake the bottle and apply the product to a clean microfibre cloth or directly to the surface, gently spreading the formula to remove all contamination. Then let it evaporate. Do not use on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place.

Technical specifications

Type: surface prep cleaner.

Evaporation: in a few seconds.

Residue: none.

Effect: improves coating adhesion and durability.

Materials: carbon, aluminium, steel and titanium.

Pairings: Secret Surface, Assembly Pro, tubeless tape.

Application: with a microfibre cloth or direct.

Warnings: do not use in the sun or on hot surfaces.

Frequently asked questions

Why is it needed before a coating?

Any residue of grease, silicone or dirt reduces coating adhesion.
