The Roubaix SL8 is the Ride Science Team's most comfortable road bike ever tested - it reduces handlebar impacts by 53 percent compared to other bikes in this category. With the Future Shock 3.0 cartridge, the wheel flies over the obstacle while the rider remains stable and maintains the trajectory on uneven ground. Normally, the fork flexes backward on impact, causing a loss of speed. Scientifically, more comfortable means faster. The Roubaix pioneered endurance geometry, giving you the feeling of pedaling 'in' the bike, not 'on' the bike. So the pressure on your hands, shoulders and arms decreases, giving you capability and confidence on any road. With tire clearance up to 38c\/40mm this endurance road bike provides exceptional traction on rough roads or gravel.
