Cannondale, the pioneering spirit of cycling

Having successfully passed the 50 Years milestone, Cannondale remains true to its original pioneering spirit. Founded in 1971, the American company reinvents itself season after season, daring and experimenting. Originally established to produce cycling trailers, bags, and racks, it launched its first bikes only in 1983. In doing so, however, it revolutionized the market by focusing entirely on welded aluminum frames. Stiffer and lighter than steel frames, they were an immediate huge success. Enthusiastically adopted by professionals, starting with Mario Cipollini, they were joined a decade or so later by high-performance carbon frames. But the star-spangled brand was also the first to launch the idea of gravel, introducing a hybrid bike in 2015: the famous Slate. Today Cannondale also excels in the e-bike market. Cannondale bikes have been a fixture of official races and everyday rides for 40 Years. The reason is simple. The Wilton brand’s catalog is so extensive that it can offer every cyclist the right product. Among road bikes, the aluminum CAAD models and carbon SuperSix Evo stand out. While when road and gravel come together, a gravel Topstone fears no rivals. In XC, meanwhile, the benchmark family is called Scalpel. Components

By using Cannondale components sold separately, you can customize your bike to suit you perfectly. For example, you could replace your aluminum MTB handlebar with the ultra-light One Carbon rise 15. But there is also room to experiment with stems, wheels, cranks, seatposts, and suspension.
