Merida Hook and Loop Saddle Bag: capacity and practicality for the modern cyclist
The saddle bag is an essential solution for anyone who rides regularly and needs to carry essential tools without compromising on weight or bulk. This Merida model has been designed to deliver splash resistance and structural strength, effectively protecting inner tubes, tire levers, multi-tools and CO2 cartridges. The combination of lightweight materials and solid construction helps maintain an optimal riding experience, distributing the load evenly across the saddle structure. The integrated reflective strip and LED light mount significantly enhance visibility in low-light conditions, a crucial feature for safety during early morning or evening rides.
Quick fastening system and smart compartmentalization
The bag installs without tools thanks to the universal Velcro strap that attaches directly to the saddle rails and seatpost, ensuring mounting and removal in just seconds. The modular design includes a small internal zip pocket and dedicated key ring, allowing for rational organization of small items and preventing the loss of critical essentials such as keys or documents. The compact design does not generate vibrations while riding, thanks to the robust anchoring system and geometry designed to fit perfectly to the saddle silhouette without affecting the cyclist's position.
Technical specifications and sizing
With a volume capacity of 1.0 liter and a weight of just 100 grams, this bag represents an optimal balance between carrying space and impact on the bike's overall weight. Its compact dimensions (H: 8 cm, L: 18 cm, W: 8 cm) also make it suitable for compact frames without interfering with the rider's movements. The Large version maintains balanced proportions, offering ample capacity while remaining discreet in the bike's overall look. The materials have been selected to ensure long-lasting durability even in adverse weather conditions.
