Sram Eagle XG-1275 Cassette: Performance and Reliability
The Sram Eagle XG-1275 cassette is an advanced solution for cyclocross and mountain biking on technical terrain. With a 520% gear range, it delivers exceptional versatility for tackling demanding climbs while maintaining speed on flat sections. FULL PIN technology integrates lightweight, precise steel cogs, permanently connected with high-strength stainless steel pins. The open design makes mud clearance easier, ensuring crisp shifts and superior component durability. Compatible with the Sram XD™ system, this cassette weighs 440 grams, optimizing the performance-to-weight ratio.
X-Glide™ System: Innovative Chainring Geometry
The X-Glide™ system is a structural innovation developed from the ground up by Truvativ engineers. The chainring geometry has been precisely recalibrated, adapting different sizes and redesigning the contact points between chain and cog. This approach allows the chainring teeth to align with the chain pins, doubling the shifting opportunities. The result is smooth drivetrain performance that eliminates imprecise shifts, delivering consistent performance on unpredictable off-road terrain without compromising speed or power.
Technical Specifications and Cassette Compatibility
The XG-1275 cassette is designed to ensure reliability in extreme conditions. With 12 speeds and cogs ranging from 10 to 50 teeth, it provides a complete drivetrain range suited to different riding styles. The open X-DOME structure keeps the cogs clean by reducing the buildup of dirt and debris. The low weight of 440 grams does not compromise structural rigidity. Exclusive compatibility with the Sram XD™ system ensures seamless integration with Eagle drivetrain components, while the mounting system is standardized on modern bicycles gravel and mountain bikes.
