Dynamic Speed Potion Wax: chain wax for maximum speed
Dynamic Speed Potion Wax is the chain coating with which Dynamic aims for maximum efficiency: a top-quality wax with over 17% anti-friction additives in a formula designed to save 2 to 11 watts. It won the 2021 Bike Motion Award in the Improve Performance category and was developed with riders and mechanics who live the World Tour every day.
Over 17% anti-friction additives
As well as reduced friction, Speed Potion Wax is extremely durable, offers high protection against wear and keeps the chain dry and clean, with longer maintenance intervals. It is aimed particularly at riders who produce above-average power and look for every useful detail: road races, time trials, triathlon or simply their own personal best.
How to apply it
Effectiveness depends on preparation: the chain must be perfectly degreased with Striptease or Drivetrain Detox, even when new, because factory grease prevents adhesion. After rinsing and drying, shake the bottle vigorously and apply at least 2 hours before riding, ideally 24: in that time the wax solidifies and adhesion reaches its optimum level.

Why does it need so much shaking?
Oxygen in the bottle can make some of the wax harden in the nozzle: shaking vigorously before opening remixes the formula and ensures even application.
Does a new chain need degreasing too?
Yes. New chains are coated in factory grease that prevents the wax from adhering to the metal surface, so they must always be degreased and dried first.
How long before the ride should it be applied?
At least 2 hours before, but Dynamic recommends 24 hours: after this time the wax is fully solidified and adhesion, and therefore durability, are at their peak.
Is it suitable for everyday use?
Yes, it offers long durability and wear protection; however, it is designed above all for riders seeking maximum efficiency who produce above-average power.

- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.
