The new generation evolves the iconic fork and V-shaped handlebar design, reducing weight by 124 grams and improving efficiency by more than 6 watts compared with the previous version. These gains come from significant structural changes at the front end: the fork legs and head tube have been redesigned with more pronounced profiles, while the handlebar and stem now form a single integrated piece, optimized for maximum speed without compromising handling or stability.

Aerodynamic development and wind-tunnel optimization

Cervélo and Reserve have worked together to develop the Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero wheels, specifically designed in the wind tunnel alongside the S5 frame to ensure total synergy between components. The one-piece handlebar-stem system represents a major step forward in aerodynamic solutions, but its effectiveness depends on the rider's ergonomic fit. For this reason, Cervélo offers nine different combinations of integrated handlebar sizes, available free of charge through authorized dealers to ensure maximum comfort and personalized performance.
