Santini Redux Power Wool Thermo jacket: thermal performance for winter cycling
The Santini Redux Power Wool Thermo jacket is a complete solution for those who ride in cold and variable conditions. Designed for a thermal range between 5°C and 15°C, this jacket combines weather protection with a close, aerodynamic fit. The Polartec® Power Wool™ fabric is the technical core of the garment, combining the thermoregulating properties of merino wool with the breathability and durability of advanced synthetic fibers. The chest panels in windproof fabric with PFAS-free DWR water-repellent treatment provide an effective barrier against wind and moisture, without compromising rider mobility.
Construction features and technical details of the jacket
Every element of the Redux Power Wool™ Thermo Jacket has been developed to maximize functionality and comfort while riding. The hybrid fabric construction delivers optimal thermal balance on cold, damp days, while maintaining the breathability needed to prevent internal moisture buildup. The refined finishes include bonded, seam-free cuffs and hem, ensuring a clean, minimalist line. The triple rear pocket with internal elastic keeps items securely in place during training, while the black Redux elastic at the back ensures a stable fit without excessive compression.
Visibility and adaptability for cycling in different conditions
The jacket incorporates reflective details on the back that significantly improve visibility in low-light conditions, a crucial element for safety during winter rides. The ability to adjust your layering with technical base layers and mid-layers allows the jacket to adapt to weather changes within the recommended range, without the need for frequent changes. This versatility makes it a functional choice for seasonal cycling, reducing the need for multiple specific garments.
