La Passione SML Mesh Women's Base Layer: mesh base layer for summer
The La Passione SML Mesh Women's Base Layer is a women's short-sleeve base layer in highly breathable mesh, as comfortable as a second skin. Many women riders skip the base layer in summer, but that is a mistake: a technical first layer moves sweat away from the skin and spreads it onto the jersey, where it evaporates faster. The result is a drier, better thermoregulated body on the hottest rides.
Polypropylene and mesh structure
The mesh fabric is made of 45% polyester, 44% polypropylene, 7% polyamide and 4% elastane. Polypropylene is one of the most hydrophobic fibres used in sportswear: it absorbs almost no water and pushes sweat outwards. The mesh structure creates a thin layer of air between skin and jersey, which helps ventilation and reduces the feeling of wet fabric.
How to use it and how it should fit
The fit must be close, like a second skin: a first layer only works when it is in close contact with the body. It is worn under any summer cycling jersey and the light color does not show under light jerseys. To preserve its properties, wash at low temperatures without fabric softener.

Non-EU shipping

- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.

- Use suitable packaging to protect the product during transport.
- Place the product's original packaging inside an outer shipping package.
- Do not apply adhesive tape, shipping labels or writing directly to the original packaging.

- When trying on clothing that you may return, avoid perfume, deodorant or any use that may leave odours or marks.
