Silverskin Core Light Warm long sleeve jersey crew neck base layer: professional base layer for cycling
The Silverskin Core Light Warm long sleeve jersey crew neck base layer is an advanced technical solution for those who cycle in moderate temperature conditions. Thanks to its seamless construction and close fit, it ensures comfort on long rides by reducing chafing and improving breathability. The side ribbing naturally follows the body line, providing muscular support without restricting movement. The classic crew neck and innovative material deliver a superior wearing experience compared with traditional base layers, ideal for both cycle touring and more intense training sessions.
Material technology and thermal performance
Made with a composition of 97% Polyester and 3% Elastane, this Jersey base layer leverages polyester properties for optimal moisture management. The technical polyester enables rapid sweat evaporation, keeping the skin dry during physical activity. The integrated elastane ensures elasticity and durability, allowing the garment to fit the cyclist’s movements perfectly. The "Light Warm" category indicates excellent insulating capability for moderate temperatures, positioning it as a versatile base layer suitable for spring, autumn, and mild winter. This material combination ensures long-lasting durability and retention of its features even after numerous washes.
Design and functionality for the cyclist
The close fit of the Jersey base layer prevents it from shifting under the cycling jacket, ensuring stability during the most demanding rides. The long sleeves fully protect the arms, making it particularly useful during transitional seasons. The seamless construction eliminates pressure points typical of traditional jerseys, reducing the risk of skin irritation during prolonged efforts. The standard crew neck offers freedom of movement at the neck and is easily compatible with other technical layers. This Jersey base layer proves to be a reliable choice for cyclists seeking an efficient, no-frills base layer rich in construction details designed for performance.
