The La Passione SML Merino sleeveless base layer is a unisex, seamless merino wool underlayer. It is designed to sit next to the skin beneath a cycling jersey and keep the body dry during exercise. The sleeveless cut leaves shoulders and arms free, making it a popular choice for warmer days and for riders who prefer a minimal first layer in spring and autumn too.
Seamless merino wool
The composition is 95% merino wool and 5% elastane. Merino is a breathable natural fibre that manages perspiration and limits odour even on longer rides, while elastane makes the fabric stretchy and close-fitting. Seamless construction reduces chafing: with no seams at the sides or shoulders, the layer does not mark the skin even after many hours in the saddle.
Who it is for and how to choose your size
As a unisex model, it suits both men and women, with the combined sizes typical of seamless garments: XXS, XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL. Is it for men or women?
It is unisex, suitable for both men and women. The combined sizes XXS, XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL and the stretchy seamless fabric accommodate different body shapes with the same model.
When should I use a sleeveless layer?
Especially on warm days beneath a short-sleeve jersey, to manage perspiration without adding fabric over the shoulders and arms. It also works under a long-sleeve jersey in spring and autumn.
Why wear merino wool in summer?
Merino is breathable, manages perspiration well and limits odour. It is therefore used in summer first layers as well as winter ones, and is useful on long rides and trips.

Non-EU shipping

Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds
- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.

- Use suitable packaging to protect the product during transport.
- Place the product's original packaging inside an outer shipping package.
- Do not apply adhesive tape, shipping labels or writing directly to the original packaging.

- When trying on clothing that you may return, avoid perfume, deodorant or any use that may leave odours or marks.
