The Roval Rapide 12 Flare integrated handlebar represents the most advanced evolution of one-piece cockpit technology, eliminating the connecting components between the stem and handlebar to optimize the aerodynamic profile. This integrated design delivers a 4-watt advantage over traditional systems, translating into a gain of 32 cm in a 250-meter finishing sprint. The removal of the connecting joints has allowed Roval engineers to develop an airfoil profile optimized for clean air, ensuring superior performance both in long solo breakaways and in World Tour sprints. Made from high-modulus carbon fiber with titanium hardware, the cockpit combines light weight and uncompromising stiffness, offering a stiffness-to-weight ratio superior to any previously made two-piece system.

At just 310 grams in the 100mm x 420mm configuration, the Roval Rapide 12 Flare is 50 grams lighter than the Rapide handlebar and Tarmac stem combination. The premium high-modulus carbon structure delivers the ideal stiffness for professional sprinters while maintaining optimal weight distribution. The 31.8mm clamp diameter ensures compatibility with most modern stem systems, while the 125 kg maximum load provides adequate safety margins for athletes in any weight category. The one-piece construction eliminates the structural weak points typical of articulated systems, ensuring direct power transfer from rider to bike.
Positional versatility and drivetrain compatibility
The cockpit offers 15 different positioning combinations, ranging from 75mm x 380mm to 125mm x 440mm, all with a -6-degree angle, covering nearly all race positions. The bend features 125mm of drop and 75mm of reach with 4 degrees of flare at the drops, while the 12-degree angle ensures an optimal tilt for an aerodynamic position. The top-to-drop radius has been carefully sculpted to allow wrist freedom of movement both out of the saddle and in a tucked aerodynamic position. The compatible cable routing with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo (both mechanical and electronic) ensures total versatility in drivetrain choice, while compatibility with the Roval computer mount bolt (code S219900058) makes integration with modern telemetry devices easy.

- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
