Poc Merino balaclava: Thermal Protection and Versatility for Cycling
The Poc Merino balaclava is a complete technical solution for those who practice cycling in adverse weather conditions. Made from a single-layer fabric containing over 80% natural merino wool, this garment ensures effective thermal insulation while maintaining a close, lightweight fit. The merino construction offers superior thermoregulating properties, retaining body heat without causing overheating during physical activity. Its low weight of just 35 grams makes it ideal to wear under a helmet, creating an additional insulating layer without compromising comfort or freedom of movement.
Comfort and Adaptability: Design Made for Cyclists
The natural merino wool used ensures gentle contact with the skin, minimizing the risk of irritation even during extended sessions. The fabric's multidirectional stretch allows the balaclava to be worn in different configurations, adapting perfectly to the face, neck, and head. A strategic opening at the back makes it easy to accommodate a ponytail, delivering a more precise fit and superior comfort for riders with tied-back hair. This versatility makes it suitable for multiple situations, whether as full protection or as a partial neck warmer.
Full Protection in Cold and Windy Conditions
Specifically designed to protect the face, neck, and sensitive areas from intense cold and wind gusts, this cycling accessory offers complete thermal protection without adding significant weight to your gear. The close fit effectively retains body heat, creating a stable protective barrier even during high-speed riding. The combination of insulating performance, lightweight construction, and versatility makes it indispensable for those facing winter cycling or mountain routes where weather conditions can change rapidly.
