Designed in collaboration with elite cyclists, these wheels are built to excel in the toughest Cross Country (XC), Cross Country Olympic (XCO) and Marathon competitions. At the heart of this wheelset is the TOTAL CONTROL concept, which offers exceptional stability, responsiveness and precision no matter where the ride takes you. Even before the official launch, the KFX i28 prototypes have already demonstrated their potential, winning the XC world championship with Alan Hatherly of the Cannondale Factory Racing team. The KFX i28 is a product of FSA's commitment to excellence, combining cutting-edge engineering and meticulous craftsmanship. Made entirely in-house, including carbon production, each wheel is hand-assembled by our skilled craftsmen. This ensures that every component is fine-tuned for maximum performance, durability and precision. FSA's close collaboration with world-class athletes has been instrumental in the development of the KFX i28. Teams like Cannondale Factory Racing have played a key role in testing and perfecting these wheels. Their feedback from top-level competition allowed FSA to fine-tune the wheel set for optimal performance, ensuring that it meets the rigorous demands of the sport at the highest level. 28 mm inner rim width: the KFX i28 features a 28 mm inner rim width, meticulously optimized through field and lab testing. This width achieves the perfect balance between light weight and handling, allowing for better tire grip and better grip on various terrains. This rim improves overall stability and traction, which are critical for maintaining control during dynamic riding conditions. Variable rim height of 22-24 mm: The variable rim height of 22-24 mm is designed to improve adaptability to various terrains. A lower rim height provides greater flexibility, allowing the wheel to better absorb bumps and bumps. This design choice improves comfort and control, as it helps the wheel adapt more effectively to the surface while still offering the resilience needed to handle difficult conditions. Innovative rim design: the KFX i28 incorporates an advanced rim design with a turret at the spoke insertion points.
