BRN 3D Short Saddle: innovation in padding technology
The BRN 3D Short Saddle SE136N represents a significant evolution in bicycle saddle design thanks to the use of 3D printing technology. This manufacturing process makes it possible to create complex lattice structures, known as honeycomb or gyroid configurations, that would be impossible to achieve with traditional methods based on conventional foam. The varying density and stiffness of the padding in different areas of the saddle enables optimized anatomical support, adapting to the needs of cyclists with different physical characteristics and riding styles.
Technical performance and ergonomic benefits
The configuration of this 3D saddle ensures a balanced combination of stability and control while riding, key features for maintaining the correct riding position and reducing fatigue. The lattice structure optimizes the padding’s breathability, promoting airflow and reducing moisture buildup during long rides. The customized, complex design made possible by 3D printing distributes body weight more efficiently than conventional saddles, helping to reduce pressure points and deliver targeted comfort on critical areas such as the sacrum and ischial tuberosities.
Construction details and weight
The BRN 3D Short Saddle features compact dimensions of 245 x 153 mm, ideal for those seeking a reduced, versatile geometry. The black painted steel frame offers reliable structural strength, ensuring long-lasting durability and resistance to the stresses generated while riding. At just 275 g, this saddle sits in the lightweight category, making it particularly suitable for riders who prioritize overall bike lightness without compromising build quality and support.
