Park Tool CT-5 mini chain tool: compact bike tool
The Park Tool chain tool CT-5 combines a compact size with professional-grade features in a practical, easy-to-carry format. It can be stored in a saddle bag or a mechanic’s tool pouch, so it is always close at hand during drivetrain maintenance. Designed to remove and install chain pins, it is compatible with 5- to 12-speed bicycle chains, including several modern configurations. The integrated loosening base also makes it possible to work on the tighter links of older-style chains.
Compatibility with modern and traditional chains
The CT-5 is compatible with 5- to 12-speed derailleur chains and supports SRAM® T-Type, SRAM® Flattop™ and 12-speed Shimano® XTR®. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of workshop and maintenance tasks, while respecting chain specifications. It can also be used with 3/32" single-speed chains and with many 1/8" chains. For guaranteed compatibility with all 1/8" single-speed chains, Park Tool recommends the CT-3.3 model. It is not suitable for 3/16" chains or half Jersey.
Easy-to-carry maintenance tool
At just 77 g and measuring 60 × 55 × 15 mm, this bicycle chain tool takes up very little space in a repair kit and can accompany riders on rides or remain part of workshop equipment. The pin is replaceable, with Park Tool replacement part code CTP. Its compact dimensions do not change the compatibility specified by the manufacturer: before use, check the chain speed and type. The CT-5 is therefore a compact chain tool for pin removal and installation on compatible chains, with an integrated base useful for loosening tight links.

Non-EU shipping
Local VAT and any customs duties for shipments of goods to customers outside the European Union (non-EU) will be charged to the recipient and requested by the courier at the time of delivery. If the delivery is not made due to refusal to pay the customs duties (local VAT and any applicable tariffs) requested by the importing country, all costs incurred by us for the return of the goods will be deducted from the refund.

Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds
- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.
FOR A SAFE RETURN
- Use suitable packaging to protect the product during transport.
- Place the product's original packaging inside an outer shipping package.
- Do not apply adhesive tape, shipping labels or writing directly to the original packaging.
- Return all accessories, manuals, components and any complimentary items received.
- Do not remove tags, labels or seals unless necessary to inspect the product.
- When trying on clothing that you may return, avoid perfume, deodorant or any use that may leave odours or marks.
- Use a trackable shipping service and keep the shipping receipt until the return has been completed.
