Poc Cularis Helmet: Lightweight Protection and Optimal Ventilation for Trail Riding
The Poc Cularis Helmet is the ideal solution for those who engage in mountain biking on technical trails at high speeds. Designed with advanced CFD ventilation technologies, this helmet keeps the head cool during the most demanding sessions, combining structural lightness with reliable protection. The polycarbonate shell ensures stability without adding weight, while the expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner is optimized to absorb impacts in critical areas. Every detail has been developed through computational fluid dynamics simulations to ensure a constant airflow that effectively dissipates body heat, maintaining comfort during prolonged rides on variable terrain.
Advanced Safety with Patented POC Technologies
The patented quick-release visor represents a crucial innovation for protection: in the event of an accident, it detaches automatically, redirecting impact forces away from the head and reducing the risk of neck injuries. The integrated Mips Air Node system within the padding offers enhanced protection against rotational impacts, a common occurrence in trail falls. Aramid inserts positioned between the inner padding and the shell increase both structural stability and penetration resistance. The extended protection zones around the temples and the back of the head cover the most exposed areas, ensuring uniform and reliable protection against all types of obstacles.
Comfort and Practicality for the Modern Cyclist
The 360° adjustment system allows for quickly achieving a secure and personalized fit, adapting to various head shapes. The Fidlock® buckle enables one-handed fastening, simplifying the process of putting on and taking off the helmet. The integrated eye garage in the front air vents provides a dedicated space to store sunglasses during the ride, avoiding the need to hold them or hang them on the helmet. The adjustable visor effectively protects against external elements such as sun, rain, and mud splashes, adapting to individual preferences. This lightweight trail helmet represents the perfect balance between protection, ventilation, and functionality for those seeking high performance without compromising safety.
