As an endurance athlete (your events typically last over two hours), you need to consume between 80 and 120 g of carbohydrates per hour. The Beta Fuel Dual Source Energy Gel from Science in Sport provides 40 g of optimized carbohydrates in a single convenient energy solution, with minimal risk of gastrointestinal discomfort, allowing you to maintain optimal performance. A ratio of 1:0.8 between maltodextrins and fructose increases the percentage of ingested carbohydrates oxidized (efficiency) from 62% to 74% compared to a ratio of 2:1. A ratio of 1:0.8 between maltodextrins and fructose reduces self-reported symptoms of gastric fullness compared to a ratio of 2:1. With the help of the Performance Solutions team, SiS has worked closely with professional athletes in the research and development of the new Beta Fuel range to offer a scientifically superior formulated supplement, available in a range of formats that allows for the absorption of 17% more carbohydrates (O'Brien et al., 2013). - You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.
