Fox Ranger Fire Jacket: three-layer MTB protection
The Fox Ranger Fire Jacket is a complete solution for those who ride mountain bike in harsh weather conditions. Built with a three-layer shell, it combines a durable polyester outer, a waterproof internal membrane, and a brushed fleece interior that delivers superior thermal insulation. The water-repellent DWR finish effectively sheds moisture, mud, and debris, keeping the garment lightweight and breathable. This structural setup ensures high performance both on the bike and for everyday wear, offering versatility without compromising protection.
Design optimized for off-road cycling
The MTB jacket cut features an extended rear hem designed to protect the lower back while riding mountain bike, preventing exposure to cold and abrasion. The zippered pockets provide secure storage for devices and essentials, while the hidden rear pocket maintains a clean visual profile. The silhouette combines casual style with technical functionality, making it suitable for both urban and sport settings without sacrificing visual credibility or practical usability.
Thermal performance and trail protection
The internal fleece insulation provides significant heat retention even in moderately damp conditions, helping maintain body thermoregulation during extended efforts. The internal membrane acts as an additional protective barrier against wind and external moisture, while the outer polyester resists abrasion from contact with frames and vegetation. This multilayer architecture allows full freedom of movement, essential for pedaling dynamics and the natural motions required by technical cycling.
