Rapha Core Winter jacket
The Rapha Core Winter jacket is a winter cycling jacket designed for riding in cold and predominantly dry conditions, with temperatures ranging from 1 °C to 8 °C. The front panel uses a cycling windproof fabric with a DWR treatment, designed to reduce heat loss and provide additional protection against light moisture and spray during winter rides.
Thermal insulation and breathability management
The dual-fabric construction combines front protection and more breathable zones, creating a balance suited to aerobic activity in low temperatures. The brushed fleece on the upper back, side panels, and underarm gusset helps regulate the temperature of the cycling thermal jacket, while supporting freedom of movement and moisture management during exertion.
Fit and functionality for winter use
The structure of the winter cycling jacket incorporates Storm cuffs designed to overlap correctly with gloves and base layers, improving continuous protection against the cold. The back features three open pockets and an additional zippered pocket for essentials. An arm band and reflective Rapha details increase the visibility of the Rapha cycling jacket in low-light conditions.
