Jersey Pas Normal Studios Escapism: Performance and Protection for Gravel Riding
The Jersey Escapism long sleeve has been specifically developed for high-intensity gravel riding and mixed surfaces in moderately warm conditions. Made from lightweight structured fabric with a dry matte finish, it delivers excellent breathability and a rugged aesthetic ideal for long days off-road. The long sleeves and fabric structure provide superior protection from branches and brush on narrow trails and technical routes. This gravel cycling apparel features an innovative pocket layout with two additional pockets on the arms and above the rear pockets, designed for the off-road rider who needs functional storage space.
Ventilation Features and Optimal Fit
The externally mounted two-way zipper allows for flexible ventilation as trail temperatures change. The elastic hem with patented Escapism silicone grip ensures a stable and secure fit during movement, preventing unwanted ride-up. The main fabric in 80% polyamide and 20% elastane provides stretch and comfort during dynamic movements, while the pocket fabric in 62% nylon, 36% elastane, and 2% other fibers delivers targeted durability. The close performance fit is engineered to reduce aerodynamic drag without compromising the freedom of movement required for technical cycling.
Construction Details and Certified Materials
The Jersey is produced in Lithuania with strict quality control at every stage of manufacturing. The stretch-woven construction maintains dimensional consistency over time, ensuring durability across multiple seasons of intensive use. The dry, matte hand feel minimizes visible sweat marks and promotes moisture evaporation to the outside. The hidden zip pocket adds discreet functionality for small items, while the total five-pocket configuration makes it a versatile solution for hikers and professional bikepackers.
