Castelli Transition Air women jacket: wind protection and versatility
The Castelli Transition Air women jacket is a lightweight jacket designed for cyclists seeking aerodynamic protection without compromising mobility. Made from 20-denier nylon microfiber, it provides a high barrier against wind while maintaining air permeability calibrated to Castelli Ristretto standards. The ergonomic cut ensures a perfect fit while riding, while the high collar protects against cold drafts. Ideal for dawn starts, short mountain descents, or urban commuting, this vest stands out for its minimalist design and everyday practicality.
Functional design and night visibility
The Transition Air design combines contemporary aesthetics and cycling functionality. The two-way asymmetrical zipper that opens from both the top and the bottom allows quick adjustments during breaks, while the Castelli scorpion zipper pull adds a quality detail. The elastic cuffs and waist maintain a clean line and a stable fit in all riding conditions. The reflective Castelli logo and scorpion on the back ensure visibility in low-light conditions, an essential safety feature on the road during dusk hours.
Versatility and everyday cycling comfort
This vest is a versatile piece of cycling apparel, suitable for both technical sessions and casual wear. The garment's lightness makes it easy to carry and put on when needed, while the elasticated hem ensures a modern silhouette both on and off the bike. Calibrated wind protection makes it an ideal solution for seasonal transitions, when temperatures call for an intermediate layer without the bulk of a full jacket. Availability in a wide range of colors makes it easy to integrate into your cycling kit.
