Pedaled Element Alpha jacket: protection for winter cycling
The winter cycling jacket Pedaled Element Alpha combines the FLYTEC Fusion Air outer layer with internal Polartec® Alpha™ insulation. It is designed to provide protection from wind and light rain while maintaining breathability and heat management during rides. The hydrophobic outer material helps handle changing conditions, while the active thermal insulation supports temperature regulation even during the most intense efforts. A technical solution to consider when you need a lightweight garment for riding in the cold season, to be worn on its own or over other layers.
Materials and fit of the cycling jacket
The construction combines the FLYTEC Fusion Air fabric, which shields against wind and light rain, with Polartec Alpha, designed to provide warmth and promote breathability. The slim fit leaves room for a Jersey and technical cycling base layer underneath, so you can adapt layering to the conditions and intensity of the ride. This breathable cycling jacket is suitable for winter use and for days when the weather can change. There is no need to give up styling flexibility: it can be worn as a standalone piece or integrated into a layering system.
Packability and use on rides
When not needed, the jacket folds into its own pocket, making it easier to carry and store during the ride. The packable cycling jacket feature is useful on rides with changing conditions, when extra protection may only be needed at certain times. Active thermal insulation and breathability help maintain comfort during higher-intensity efforts, while the hydrophobic outer layer provides a barrier against light rain, not a guarantee of waterproofness. In short, the windshell cycling gilet combines protection, warmth and practicality in a packable winter garment.
Technical features
- FLYTEC Fusion Air outer layer, hydrophobic and protective against wind and light rain.
- Polartec® Alpha™ inner layer for active thermal insulation and breathability.
- Slim fit, compatible with Jersey and technical base layers underneath.
- Self-stowing pocket for compressing and carrying the jacket.
- Can be worn as a standalone piece or paired with other layers.
- Garment designed for cycling rides in the cold season.
- Color: Grey (Stone Gray).
