Leatt MTB Trail 2.0 Pants: Technical Performance and Comfort on Singletrack and Challenging Trails
The MTB Trail pants are the ideal solution for riders who practice mountain biking on technical and variable trails. Built with 4-way stretch, they ensure complete freedom of movement while pedaling and during climbing and descending maneuvers. The main fabric in polymer fiber and elastane provides lightweight performance without compromising durability, while the laser-cut ventilation promotes moisture management during more intense sessions. The quick-drying and antibacterial technology maintains thermal and hygienic comfort during longer rides, preventing odor buildup and skin irritation. Completing the technical profile are the UPF 50+ sun protection, which blocks 95% of UVA rays and 98% of UVB rays, and the eco-friendly PFAS-free DWR treatment.
The construction of the waistband and back panel in super-stretch fabric ensures a slim fit that adapts perfectly to the body without restriction. The hook-and-loop adjustment tabs, combined with the internal elastic waistband, allow micro-adjustments to tension in the saddle, essential for maintaining stability during braking and changes of direction. The fly with a YKK zipper and snap buttons provides maximum security against accidental openings, while the zippered rear thigh pockets keep your phone and essentials safe. The open side hand pockets ensure quick access and versatile style for wear off the bike as well.
From a sustainability standpoint, these pants meet internationally recognized standards. The bluesign® fabric certifies a production process that reduces environmental impact from the earliest stages, while plastic-free packaging minimizes waste. The DWR C0 coating, completely free of perfluorinated compounds (PFAS), provides dirt-resistant and water-repellent protection without persistent pollutants. Reflective details ensure visibility in low-light conditions, a crucial feature for those riding single track trails during shorter daylight periods.
